Class Schedule (JULY - AUGUST 2008)To Register for a Class:Choose from one of the following three options: print out our registration form, fill it out and mail it to us along with a check (and a self-addressed stamped envelope); call our shop at 607-562-7596 and provide us with your class choice(s) and credit card information; or stop by our shop and provide us with your class choice(s) along with your payment, using cash, check, MasterCard or Visa.Class Registration Policy:Payment is required upon registration. You may register by one of the three options listed above. We must make a commitment to our teachers based of registration. Therefore, if you cancel less than one week before your class, your class fee cannot be refunded. It is your responsibility to obtain a class supply list prior to each class and read it completely to see what supplies are needed and what pre-class preparation needs to be done. Sewing machines are required for all quilting classes unless otherwise stated. In addition, students receive a one time 15% discount on class supplies. HAND QUILTING

Date(s): Wed. July 16 Grab a bunch of fat quarters and get stacking! This is the pattern that started the whole “Buggy Barn” craze. The quilt is appropriate for all skill levels since there are virtually no seams to match AND it’s a fabulous way to use up your stash. Come see the model and you’ll see what we mean. If you don’t care for the scrappy look, just pick fabrics from your favorite color family. Our finished quilt is 69” x 72”, but you can easily make it any size you need. INTRODUCTION TO NEEDLE PUNCH
Date(s): Thurs. July 17 Punch needle embroidery is back! And the very best way to learn this fun technique is to take a class. Jane will show you the ins and outs, the variety of patterns available, and have you punching away by the end of class. It's perfectly portable for today's "on the go" stitchers, or for those of us who like to have a project while watching TV. Class fee includes practice kit. PUZZLE BOX QUILT

Date(s): Mon. July 28, Aug. 4, 18 This class is designed for beginning quilters or people who want to brush up on basic skills. Learn how to plan your quilt, select and prepare fabrics, rotary cut, machine piece, apply borders accurately, and finally layer your quilt and apply binding. Your beginning level machine piecing skills will then have you making lots of quilts quickly after this class.
