Class Schedule  (JULY - AUGUST 2010)

To Register for a Class:

Choose from one of the following three options: print out our registration form, fill it out and mail it to us along with a check (and a self-addressed stamped envelope); call our shop at 607-562-7596 and provide us with your class choice(s) and credit card information; or stop by our shop and provide us with your class choice(s) along with your payment, using cash, check, MasterCard or Visa.

Class Registration Policy:

Payment is required upon registration. You may register by one of the three options listed above. We must make a commitment to our teachers based of registration. Therefore, if you cancel less than one week before your class, your class fee cannot be refunded.

It is your responsibility to obtain a class supply list prior to each class and read it completely to see what supplies are needed and what pre-class preparation needs to be done. Sewing machines are required for all quilting classes unless otherwise stated. In addition, students receive a one time 15% discount on class supplies.

MACHINE QUILTING

Learn the techniques of creating hand-quilted effects using your sewing machine. Working on a small project you will practice straight-line-quilting, free-motion, echo quilting, and stippling. Included will be tips, hints and tricks for achieving beautiful results.

LOG CABIN QUILT (beginner)

 This class is designed for beginning quilters or people who want to brush up on basic skills. Learn how to plan your quilt, select and prepare fabrics, rotary cut, machine piece, apply borders accurately, and finally layer your quilt and apply binding. Your beginning level machine piecing skills will then have you making lots of quilts quickly after this class. The first class will be a lesson on supplies, tools, fabrics, and beginning cutting techniques. Bring sewing machine to 2nd class only.

INTRO TO PUNCH NEEDLE
